Armendia P. Dixon, Chair. Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from Kent State University; research at Kent State University and Columbia University; Doctor of Letters from Allegheny College; English, Writing, Public Speaking teacher middle school, high school and college; school and college administrator; director of afterschool program and other community endeavors; passionate about Meadville, the Beloved Community; author of articles about parent involvement, speaker about Civil Rights Movement and Journey through Mississippi, Co-author of Meadville Ebony Genealogy of Sorts, a Bicentennial publication (1988), an identification of early African Americans in Meadville, Pennsylvania, facilitated the design for the Collegiate Academy in the Erie School District; highly decorated, having received numerous local, regional, state and national honors. She and her husband, a native of Meadville, raised their son Harrison in Meadville. She has been an active educator for over 53 years.

Marcia Metcalfe, Recorder.

Local Community member working on social, economic and racial justice, with a strong interest in understanding and reducing sources of community-based trauma. Professional accomplishments: implementation and research linking financial access and health for poor women and families in India, Latin America, Southeast Asia, and West Africa; senior management positions in non-profit health delivery and financing systems; academic lecturer on non-profit management and political campaign management; author and co-author of numerous papers on the emerging field of linked health and financial services and non-profit healthcare.

Meadville resident for 30 years with two children who are CCSD alumni.

Lisbet Searle-White, Member. She moved to Meadville from the Washington, D. C. area in. 1995, and has resided here ever since. After staying home with her young children, she started her own business and was a pioneer in our region in the field of residential energy efficiency for a number of years. She now works full time at a local business. Both of Lisbet’s children attended CCSD schools from kindergarten through high school.

Maria Rosado-Husband, Member.

Meadville community member. TICD Community Organizer with the HOPE Initiative, Advocate with Women’s Services, Inc., Family Partner Lead with Crawford County System of Care, Member of Peace4Crawford, Chair of the NAACP Youth and College Committee. She is the parent of 5 children, 4 are currently in the CCSD.

Tiffany Onyeiwu (she/her/hers), Member. Tiffany is a current senior at Meadville Area Senior High School and has been a member of the Meadville community for her entire life. At MASH, she is involved in several school activities and extracurriculars, including ECO People, a club she founded to educate students about climate/environmental issues and empower her peers to lead their communities to a sustainable, equitable future. Tiffany is an avid community organizer for various groups in Meadville and across the country. After noticing the absence of representation in her community for her values, she became immersed in activism via politics. Furthermore, she is excited to collaborate with pertinent stakeholders to address youth issues and ensure that the youth receive a voice today to steward their vision of a beneficial American society tomorrow.

Rev. Sarah Roncolato, Member. Sarah Roncolato and her husband Dave have called Meadville home since coming to Allegheny College in the mid-seventies. Here they raised two daughters and two sons, all who graduated from Meadville Area Senior High. Ordained a United Methodist Clergy twenty-five years ago, Sarah currently serves as pastor of Stone United Methodist

Church. Other community involvement includes service on the boards of Fairview/Fairmont Apartments Outreach and Housing, Stone UMC Children’s Center and Meadville Medical Center as well as leadership with Meadville Area Ministerial Association and Courageous

Conversations. Being raised by a public-school teacher, Sarah values quality public education for all children and support for all families.

Shayna Morrison. Member. Ph.D. student at Kent State University and works as a researcher in the Survey Research Lab where she creates, conducts, and analyzes data from mass surveys for CDC. She grew up in Meadville and graduated from MASH as did her mother and grandmother. After traveling nationally and internationally for 13 years, Shayna returned to Meadville to raise her children where she grew up. She recently purchased a home and pays taxes to Crawford Central School District. Having worked both in the SMART Program for CSSD and teaching/counseling for Women’s Services, she has spent time in every school in the District over the past six years. She has two girls who will be attending MAMS in a few years.

Gloria McDonald, Member. Gloria McDonald is a life-long resident of Crawford County and has served in a wide range of county and state leadership roles as an advocate for children of all ages and ability levels and their families. Her many current advisory roles include those with PA Youth and Family Training Institute, Pennsylvania Families, Inc., and the Northwest Behavioral

Health Partnership Advisory Board. At the Crawford County level, she is a parent partner of the County Leadership team for the System of Care, and participates in Peace4Crawford and Courageous Conversations.

Gloria is a mother and her grandchildren currently attend CCSD.
